It’s been five years since we learned drinking water in Flint, Michigan is unsafe, but the crisis continues. It’s way past time to shift some of the $686 billion U.S. defense budget to an urgent effort to protect citizens from poisoning by failed water infrastructure and resulting contamination. Whether it’s lead in the pipes in Flint, benzene in drinking water after wildfires in California, PFAS in water in many places, or other pollutants, the lack of action and funds is deplorable. At zNano WaterTech, we’re scientists ready to take action – we just need elected leaders with the political will to put solutions in place.
